Today you board the legendary Glacier Express for an impressive journey through the Swiss Alps, from St. Moritz to Zermatt: a spectacular 8-hour journey in which the train crosses 291 bridges, 91 tunnels and climbs to 2033 m at the Oberalp Pass. 3rd day: Zermatt and return journey
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy Zermatt or take a trip to the Gornergrat. Europe's highest open-air rack railway leads from Zermatt to the Gornergrat. The train crosses impressive bridges, galleries and tunnels. From the summit you have a magnificent panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks rising above 4000 metres.
