Interlaken is an ideal starting point for a trip to the Jungfraujoch. Even the journey to the world-famous Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" at 3,454 m is a highlight. Another highlight is "Spy World," an interactive exhibition dedicated to the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, two-thirds of which was filmed in the region.

Highlights include the Greenfield Festival featuring top-class bands in mid-June, and the International Trucker & Country Festival showcasing fantastic music at the end of the same month. Additionally, the Tell Open-Air Theatre offers performances on a natural stage in the Rugenwald forest from mid-June to early September.
