Sit down in a café and be sure to order one of the many specialties from Montreux: “Cholera” is a cake made from potatoes, apples and cheese. Best tasted accompanied by a local wine from the Chasselas grape, a fine, yet strong and delicate white wine.

The Christmas market in Montreux is one of the most famous and largest in Switzerland. 150 lovingly decorated and illuminated chalets line the more than 1 kilometer long quay along the lakeshore. Regional specialties, musical performances, gift ideas and, of course, plenty of mulled wine await you.
