Montreux
Famous for the Montreux Jazz Festival and situated on a sheltered bay of Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the snow-covered Alps, lies the town of Montreux.

Sit down in a café and be sure to order one of the many specialties from Montreux: “Cholera” is a cake made from potatoes, apples and cheese. Best tasted accompanied by a local wine from the Chasselas grape, a fine, yet strong and delicate white wine.
