The Schottenhamel tent is an institution at the Munich Oktoberfest and is known for its traditional history and unforgettable atmosphere. For over 150 years, this tent has opened its doors to guests from all over the world who want to experience genuine Bavarian festival culture. The Oktoberfest is officially opened here with the famous ‘O'zapft is!’ - the first barrel tapping - officially opened!
