Travel programm

  1. 1

    1

Use the time to explore the Norwegian capital Oslo with all its famous sights such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum and the Munch Museum. The climb up to the new opera house right by the sea is just as worthwhile as the short trip up to Holmenkollen with its ski jumps. Depending on your flight schedule, we recommend an additional overnight stay in Oslo so that you can enjoy the special flair of this city on the fjord of the same name to the full.

  2. 2

    2

(Train) Today you travel on the Bergen Railway from Oslo to Myrdal. Past charming villages and along deep blue lakes, the train steadily gains altitude until it finally reaches the Hardangervidda high plateau. You finally reach Myrdal through this archaic landscape. There you change to the spectacular Flåm Railway, which takes you through wild and beautiful landscapes with waterfalls and steep mountain slopes. Overnight stay in Flåm.

  3. 3

    3

(boat, bus, train) Before you continue your tour, use the morning to discover Flåm and its surroundings on a hike, kayak or bike tour. In the afternoon, take the ferry across the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. The journey continues by bus through the Nærøyfjord valley. In Voss you board the Bergen train again, which takes you on to Bergen. Overnight stay in Bergen.

  4. 4

    4

This day is at your free disposal. Visit the sights: Bryggen Hanseatic area, the Fløibanen, the house of the composer Edvard Grieg Troldhaugen, the fish market, the Bergen Aquarium and the Bergen Open Air Museum on your own.

  5. 5

    5

Enjoy the magnificent world of the fjords, relax in the evening on deck or in the panorama lounge while the ship cruises slowly through the beautiful fjord and coastal landscape. You will spend two nights in your chosen cabin. Breakfast included.

  6. 6

    6

It's worth getting up early. The magnificent view of the idyllic Nordfjord beckons. Later, the ship will be sailing on the high seas for the first time at Norway's westernmost point.

  7. 7

    7

You reach Trondheim early in the morning. Your cruise ends here. But the magical city, which has retained its historical character, beckons. 1 overnight stay in a good mid-range hotel incl. breakfast.

  8. 8

    8

Enjoy the vast forests during the 6-hour train ride to Oslo Airport. Or stay on until Oslo Central Station if you have booked an extra night.
