The fish market is an experience par excellence. Not only fish is sold here, but just about everything that is not nailed down. Your Hamburg guide will explain everything to your group. The market closes at 10 a.m. and you will gather for brunch in the fish auction hall. Watch the colorful hustle and bustle in the hall and on the Elbe river. A rich buffet with salmon, scampi, fried potatoes, sausage, cheese, salads, eggs, tea and coffee awaits you. Live music also ensures a rousing atmosphere.

Take a look behind the scenes of Hamburg's amusement and red light district. With a lot of humor and the charm of an old sailor, the night watchman will guide you along the old "sailor's route" from the port on the Elbe up to the world-famous Reeperbahn. You will learn numerous anecdotes, for example about the "Große Freiheit", about the Spielbudenplatz with its numerous theaters and about Germany's most famous police station, the Davidwache. Opposite the city is one of the largest ports in the world. On a small ship, called a barge, you will be shown the Speicherstadt, the imperial port facilities, the shipyards, the container ports, the Köhlbrand Bridge, the Hafencity and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. From the water, you will see the city from a different perspective. Experience how closely the city and the harbor are linked and see the nobly built-up slope between the Elbe and Elbchaussee as well as the beach, the fish market and the docks.
