Delightfully Nordic with a maritime flair
  • Hamburg
  • Group Travel
  • 3 days / 2 nights
The Hanseatic city will inspire your group with its diversity. Historic brick houses in the Speicherstadt, elegant buildings around the Inner Alster and on the Alsterfleet, the magnificent town hall or Hamburg's landmark "Michel".

You can go shopping in Mönckebergstrasse or alternatively in the Schanzenviertel. On the trip in a boat, called a barge, you will get a taste of the big wide world. A night watchman will introduce your group to St. Pauli with his typical coarse humor. On the Jungfernstieg or in the Planten un Blomen park, you can relax and unwind during your group trip and in the evening, operas, concerts, musicals and all kinds of tasty restaurants and colorful bars beckon.

Early risers won't want to miss the fish market, sports enthusiasts can explore the city by bike and night owls can hit the Reeperbahn. There's always something going on in Hamburg!

  1. 1

    1

When you arrive in Hamburg, a panoramic coach tour will give you a good overview of Germany's 2nd largest city: you'll see the port, the old warehouses, HafenCity, the Binnenalster and Aussenalster lakes, the Town Hall and the Reeperbahn. Some of these areas are worth exploring in more detail on a walking tour. In the evening, how about a musical?

  2. 2

    2

Led by a guide, you explore the heart of Hamburg on foot around the Town Hall, then the HafenCity district on a pleasant stroll through the old red-brick warehouses to the bold Elbphilharmonie. Later in the day, you can admire the port and the ballet of cranes around the containers by boat. Then it's on to St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn for the evening, which begins with a meal in a typical local restaurant and ends... as you please.

  3. 3

    3

Discover Hamburg by water on a cruise of around 2 hours on Lake Alster for a superb panorama of the city with its bell towers and bridges, villas and parks. Alternatively, or as a complement, a cycle tour will give you some great views. Your group will also enjoy some free time for individual exploration or a spot of shopping, for example on Mönckebergstrasse. Return in the evening or overnight in a hotel in Hamburg and return the next day.
