The Golden Eagle Danube Express is a luxurious hotel on wheels. Travel through Europe in comfort and style on one of the spectacular private rail journeys that combine iconic cities with breathtaking scenery. The restaurant cars of the Golden Eagle Danube Express are a wonderful place to enjoy meals skillfully prepared by the onboard chef and his restaurant team using the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. Depending on the number of guests on board, one or two of our restaurant carriages are used on each departure. A bar (lounge carriage) completes the carriage composition of this private train.

The Superior Deluxe cabins offer the ultimate in European rail accommodation in terms of space, facilities and comfort. Each Superior Deluxe cabin (8,6 m²) offers en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, comfortable seating during the day with a full-length sofa and two additional chairs. The cabin also has two large panoramic windows, one of which can be opened to enhance the light and airy feel of the interior. In the evening, the cabin transforms into a luxurious bedroom with a British-standard king-size bed. All cabins have a double closet with plenty of storage space, individually adjustable air conditioning, dimmable lighting, individual reading lamps, Wi-Fi in the cabin and USB ports, power sockets and a safe as standard.

Each sleeping car has five spacious yet intimate cabins (7,7 m²) with en-suite bathrooms with shower and constant hot water, washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail, shaver socket and hairdryer. The cabins have individually controlled air conditioning, dimmable lighting, individual reading lamps, power sockets and a safe. Two comfortable armchairs provide seating for the day and a freestanding chair provides additional flexibility. Wardrobes and a full-length closet provide ample storage space, while the large picture window and full-length mirror enhance the sense of space. A second window can be opened for fresh air and the perfect photo opportunity. During dinner, the living room transforms into two comfortable lower beds, which are prepared by your carer, who will also bring you tea or coffee early in the morning.
