Parma
Parma is delicious, cozy, musical and very green. Culturally, Parma has a lot to offer, as it is the home of Giuseppe Verdi and Arturo Toscanini. Parma is still an insider tip if you are looking for fascinating places with a long history, interesting sights and excellent cuisine.
Parma's main sights include the cathedral square from the Middle Ages, the Teatro Regio and the Palazzo Pilotta complex. Many of Parma's sights date back to the time of the Farnese and Bourbon duchies.
The Palazzo della Pilotta was the secular center of power in Parma. The Teatro Farneses is located on the 1st floor of the Palazzo della Pilotta. On the right-hand side of the palazzo is the Teatro Regio, where the Verdi Festival takes place every year. Verdi is probably the most famous composer in Italy.

The entrance to the cathedral is guarded by two marble lions supporting the columns of the portico. The religious center of Parma is formed by the cathedral square and the baptistery. The dome of the cathedral is decorated with frescoes by Correggio.
