1st day: arrival in Chur

Arrival in Chur by train. Enjoy today this alpine town, the gateway between north and south. The train journey alone is already in itself worthwhile and you will not be able to escape the mountain magic during the train journey. 2nd day: Bernina Express Chur – Tirano (4h15)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will travel with the Bernina Express from Chur to Tirano on the Albula line via Filisur over the Bernina Pass and the open hairpin bend at Brusio to Tirano (Italy). Discover the spectacular Rhine Gorge, the wild Albula Valley or the natural paradise of the Engadine with the Rhaetian Railway. Enjoy a wonderful panoramic journey on the Bernina Express over viaducts, past glaciers and right through the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The many viewing platforms along your journey offer magnificent views. Tirano (Italy) is the south end of the Bernina Line of the Rhaetian Railway and awaits guests from all over the world with Italian charm. Overnight in Tirano.

3rd day: Tirano and return journey

Breakfast at the hotel. Take any regional train via the Bernina line to Chur. On the way there is the possibility of a stop at Alp Grüm or an excursion with the cable car to the Diavolezza. From Chur individual return journey.
