After breakfast, travel by coach to Rothiemurchus Estate in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Rothiemurchus offers a magical setting where you can enjoy clay pigeon shooting, fishing or a tour of the estate. Board the train again for lunch. Later, enjoy a private tour of the Culloden battlefield and an evening visit to Strathisla Distillery, one of the oldest distilleries producing one of Scotland's most famous whiskies. Back on board, enjoy spectacular panoramas as you head south through Aberdeenshire and Angus. A formal dinner is served on the way to Dundee.

On the journey south, enjoy the last hearty Scottish breakfast. The train arrives at Waverley Station in Edinburgh at around 10:00 am. In the early afternoon, travel west from Edinburgh to Falkirk and Craigendoran, the starting point of the West Highland Railway line. During the sumptuous afternoon tea you will see Loch Lomond for the first time. On the journey north along Glen Falloch with its numerous waterfalls, you will cross the magnificent, virtually untouched Rannoch Moor. On the way to Spean Bridge, an informal dinner with regional entertainment is offered.

As the train continues westwards, you will catch sight of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. Get off the train in Arisaig. Stroll across the expanse of the famous Silver Sands of Morar. The view sweeps across to the majestic Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Sky. After a delicious lunch on board, disembark and visit the historic Glenfinnan Monument, where Bonnie Prince Charlie gathered the members of the clans. Here you can also join a guided tour to the spectacular Steall Waterfall, which plunges 120 meters into the picturesque Nevis Gorge. Casual dinner on board during the train journey to the pretty Bridge of Orchy, followed by an entertainment program.
