More info
There are formal and informal dinners on board the Royal Scotsman, which usually alternate. For the formal dinners, we recommend elegant dress or a kilt appropriate to the high standard. For the “informal” dinners, a jacket with or without a tie is the norm for gentlemen. If the temperature is exceptionally high, you are welcome to attend informal dinners in a polo shirt.
