Dream patisseries

Patisserie is an art in France and Paris is its showcase. For some years now, the «Sweet Art»-wave has been sweeping across Paris: newly thought-out, technically and flavourfully refined patisserie creations at the highest level are offered in elegant confectioneries. A visit to Ladurée, Cyril Lignac, Christophe Adam, to the Champs-Elysées in the new parlour of Pierre Hermé, the «King of macarons», or to Le Meurice, where Cédric Grolet, the best patissier in the world in 2017, has elevated the apple pie to a work of art, is an absolute must! And what awaits you at Philippe Conticini's «Pâtisserie des rêves» patisserie? A land of milk and honey with dreamy delicacies...

Tea time at the British Museum

Of course, you will first visit the British Museum with its fabulous collections, especially those of Egyptian and Greco-Roman civilizations. Among the famous treasures of this venerable museum are the Rosetta Stone and the Parthenon Frieze. But culture makes you hungry! The Great Court Restaurant awaits you for tea time under the beautiful glass roof designed by Norman Foster. In the huge atrium, fragrant teas from all over the world are served with small sandwiches, scones and exquisite pastries. Delicious and so British!

Paris and its islands

The islands of Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis, connected by a pedestrian bridge, are true oases of peace. They form the heart of Paris, where the foundations of the Celtic settlement of Lutetia were once laid. With their quays, beautiful city palaces, old streets and quiet spots full of romance, they are the favourite meeting place for couples in love. The Ile de la Cité is home to two jewels of Gothic architecture: the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral and the breathtaking Sainte-Chapelle. On the Ile Saint-Louis you will find another celebrity: the Maison Berthillon, which has been serving the best ice cream in Paris for half a century!
