Highlights

At 2,962 metres, the Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany. It offers breathtaking views and skiing fun until well into May. Visitors can expect a mix of winter sports, first-class gastronomy and the spectacular Zugspitze cable car - an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Alps!
The Partnach Gorge is an impressive natural monument. Thundering waterfalls, narrow gorges and steep walls make the walk through the 700 metre-long gorge an unforgettable experience in both summer and winter - a highlight for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
The AlpspiX is a spectacular viewing platform on the Osterfelderkopf. Two 13-metre-long steel walkways in the shape of an X protrude over 1,000 metres into the Höllental valley and offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Zugspitze and Alpspitze. Just a few steps away from the Alpspitzbahn mountain station, it is free to visit all year round.
The large Olympic ski jump in the Olympic ski stadium is an absolute highlight of the region. The traditional New Year's competition of the Four Hills Tournament has been held here since 1921. The facility offers visitors guided tours all year round with spectacular views of the Alps.
