The mighty Cathedral Tower, the city's landmark, stands proudly above the historic old town with its medieval buildings, cobbled streets and unique canals with shipyard cellars, which today house cosy cafés, boutiques and restaurants. At 112 metres, it is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. After climbing 465 steps, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Utrecht and the surrounding area – on clear days, you can even see as far as Amsterdam.
