1ˢᵗ day: arrival in Domodossola

Train journey to Bern and onward journey with the RegioExpress via Spiez along the historic mountain route to Brig. The 60 km long route is considered one of the most important and daring structures in Swiss railway history and impresses with the imposing Kanderviadukt, the loops around the Felsenburg and the unconventional Bietschtal Bridge near Raron. Continue through the Simplon Tunnel to Domodossola (Italy) and enjoy some free time. We recommend an easy hike
to Sacro Monte Calvario, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Domodossola.

2ⁿᵈ day: Centovalli Railway (2h)

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel on the Centovalli Railway through the «Valley of a Hundred Valleys» and the Vigezzo Valley to Locarno. The area is a unique natural and cultural paradise. Overnight in Locarno.

Breakfast at the hotel. Stroll beneath the palm trees along the lake promenade and visit Piazza Grande, the vibrant heart of Locarno. Individual return journey.
