The romantic movie Midnight in Paris tells the story of Gil Pender (Owen Wilson), a successful screenwriter who is dissatisfied with his life and begins to idealize the past. One night, he is transported to the Paris of the 1920s, the golden age of art and literature. It is here that he meets famous artists such as Hemingway and Dalí. Gil takes many nocturnal walks in the Quartier Latin, where he dwells on the steps of the Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont church and reflects on his life while he has to decide whether he wants to live in the past or accept his present.
